Brian Diede, who hails from Huron, South Dakota, started his career in 2001 in the Wissota Super Stock Division. Winning in just his 5th race at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, South Dakota the driver to be known one day as “The Hammer” went on to win 5 features that first year.
After two more years in the division, the decision was made to move up to the Late Model division. He's enjoyed a lot of success along the way.
" I’ve never really been one to keep track of my wins, but it’s not hard to figure it out with a little research these days," notes Diede. "It’s somewhere between 80 and 90 with I think somewhere around 7 or 8 points championships. For the little bit that I race, my winning percentage is probably one of the highest you’ll come across as over the course of 16 years, I’ve averaged maybe 30 races a year. So to win 80-90 features out of a total of 480 possible races to win, that’s a pretty good percentage."
He goes on to note, "Among my accomplishments I’m most proud of are my two Wissota Challenge Series wins, one in Great Falls, Montana and the other one at my hometrack in Huron, South Dakota."
Through his time in racing and success on the track Diede has acquired a great deal of shock knowledge that he's able to pass on to his clients to propel them to victory lane.
